One of my brothers came by spontaneously to say hello and he slammed the door behind him hahah. It was non-aggressive of course, the door is heavy and has to be slammed in order for it to be properly closed !. Little did my bro know that i was recording and that i managed to catch the door slam !. The house was dark, empty and quiet - he wondered wtf was going on lol. It sounds a bit distant, it's because i was in the bedroom and not in the entrance. This sound is natural too, which is perfect. Stereo recording of an old armoire door's wood creaking. It was captured in an untreated location so it's a little bit roomy. Gear:. Zoom h6 with an xy capsuleformat: 48khz 24bit stereo.

A recording of a shower door, i used this sound through izotope iris 2 to produce a low, slow bassy kick sound, for a pretty ambient piece i did. I don't know why i became fascinated with the shower door. Bathroom time can be surprisingly pensive, so perhaps the sound of the door shunting shut became associated with that introspective space for me. Yes, i am aware that this the second bathroom sound i have shared. This may take on a certain significance given the fact that i have only shared a handful of recordings, but i encourage you not to read too deeply in to this fact.

Ich habe aufgenommen, wie die tür eines autos geöffnet und geschlossen wurde. Als beispielfahrzeug wurde ein bmw verwendet. I recorded how the door of a car was opened and closed. A bmw was used as an example vehicle.

Recorded with tascam dr-05x with the gain set at 90 (maximum). Evident noise, the reason being is that i'm recording neighbours slamming their doors.
